The Comets traveled down to Corona Del Mar once again to face the same team that they have defeated in their third game. Once again Alex had to fill in as the coach for the Comets. The Comets started off strong as they ended the first quarter leading 8 to 2. The second quarter was not to friendly to the Comets as they were outscored 12 to 2 and trailed 14 to 10 at half time. The Comets trailed throughout the second half and fell short 21 to 26 facing their second lost in a row. Alyssa played a spectacular game as she had a game and season high 10 points. Alex had to face his first lost of the season making his overall record now 1-1. He again said that he should have retired as a coach after his first game to maintain his perfect record. Oh well, the girls played their hearts out and had lots of fun, and that is all that really matters.

We started of the New Years by heading up to the mountain, our destination was Mt Baldy. It took us 3 hours to finely get to our destination. We found a nice spot with white powder snow. We grab our sleds and hike up the perfect spot to go sledding. Everybody had a chance to slide including Alexis. Alexis had a blast as she was much braver this year than last year. Alyssa was enjoying the sled and she was brave enough to go down the big hill. Aunt Jasmine was also enjoying her day in the snow. Alexis was making snowballs and throwing it around. Although it was a fun day we learn to avoid the mountain on New Year's Day as it was just way too crowed
